Slo-Pitch Softball

The City of Kelowna is home to one of Canada’s largest adult co-ed slo-pitch softball leagues with a variety of nights and levels to choose from each season. Leagues run in the spring, summer and fall.

Register as a team or individual. Prizes for divisional winners. Co-ed slo-pitch teams are made up of a 6:4 gender ratio (self-identified). A minimum of four players of the same gender must be on the field at all times.

All teams participate in weekly leagues games on their chosen night. Game start times are staggered between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. nightly; 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on afternoons. Games have a one-hour and 45 minute time limit. Schedules are rotational through the available time slots as facilities allow.

Qualifying teams receive a minimum of one playoff game each season. Playoffs are a single knockout bracket, with those from your night and division, that takes place the last two weeks of the season. Prizes are awarded for playoff divisional winners.

Beginner ‘E’ is for teams with the majority of their players having no or minimal experience. Intermediate ‘D’ is for teams who have advanced beyond the recreational level. Competitive ‘C’ is for top level teams. Umpires are provided for the Competitive ‘C’ league.
