Forfeits

Teams are expected to be able to field a team for all of their scheduled games. This includes games that fall on holidays and/or long weekends. Teams that forfeit 2 games in a season will be removed from the league without a return of league fees.

Make-up games

Kelowna Sports will make every effort to re-schedule games that are cancelled by the City of Kelowna. This could be due to poor or unsafe conditions. Re-scheduled games may take place on a different day than your current league play and may not be available during a preferred date or time. Please consult the re-scheduling policy found in your league rules for more information on the process for re-scheduling games.

Each season, teams participating in outside sports (slo-pitch softball, beach volleyball, beach soccer) are eligible for one complimentary judgement call game re-schedule. A judgement call game is one called off due to unpredictable weather (ie. lightning, air quality, etc.) that if after the ten-minute weather delay has passed, both teams agree the game is not able to be played. Teams are not eligible to re-schedule games due to a lack of players or a scheduling conflict with another event. Umpires will not be provided for games re-scheduled by teams.
