The City of Kelowna maintains and operates a multitude of recreational facilities, courts and sport fields to host leagues and programs in addition to general public use. Large and/or fixed equipment such as volleyball posts, nets, basketball hoops, softball bases, pitching rubber, soccer goal posts, tennis/pickleball nets, etc. are supplied by the City. 

Participants of adult sports programs and leagues are required to bring personal sports equipment. This includes volleyballs, soccer balls, softballs, gloves, bats, strike mats, scoresheets and so on. Team jerseys, while a nice touch, are not a requirement to participate in Kelowna Sports leagues.
